Salons de Barcelona is a series made on book pages about modernist salons from Barcelona. Each piece includes images of the ridiculous men who made the modernism movement possible in their own ways - generally through the enslavement of others. Antonio Lopez y Lopez, whose statue was recently removed from Barcelona, was instrumental in generating the riches that paid for the beautiful buildings we see in Barcelona, through commerce and the transport of enslaved Africans.
