This series is an evolution of the Botical Camouflage pieces, but smaller and more intimate. I started this series thinking about a handful of close women friends whose friendships are important to me, and it bloomed from there (pun intended!) I use pages from “The Book of the Flowers: Flowers in Art” by Hyland and Wilson. I normally take two or three famous works and re-compose them to form my own bouquets, and work with a combination of acrylic, pastels and glitter to make them a whole new piece.
